Gal Nagli

CEO

Hi, I'm Gal Nagli, currently bootstrapping shockwave.cloud, where we're redefining Attack Surface & Continuous Threat Exposure Management.

My journey in cybersecurity is mainly involved around Bug Bounties & Securing Giant Attack Surfaces.

I've been the guy uncovering critical bugs for giants like OpenAI, PayPal, GitHub, Tesla, Facebook, Yahoo and many more, ethically.

This adventure didn't just bring accolades, it also hit a milestone as one of the few ethical hackers who got awarded over $2,000,000 in bounties and a proud spot in the top 10 on HackerOne's all-time leaderboard and top 20 on BugCrowd's.

I usually thrive in the heat of Live Hacking Events, ethically hacking the biggest companies around the world, often coming out on top 5 on the leaderboards and with the most critical / creative findings.

My experience spans from being a distinguished officer cybersecurity operations in the IDF Cyber Defense Division up to enhancing security measures in startups and at F500 Companies such as Salesforce.

Now, at Shockwave, I'm channeling all this experience into creating an innovative platform that’s all about smarter and more efficient cybersecurity, our mission is to make the security teams day to day life easier, while ensuring their externally facing assets are protected.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I'm an avid conference speaker, gracing stages from GISEC in Dubai to DEFCON in Las Vegas.

My passion for sharing knowledge and building a community is evident not only on these global platforms but also through my active presence on Twitter and LinkedIn, where I engage with and contribute to the cybersecurity community.

Call me a cybersecurity enthusiast, a team player, and a problem-solver – I’m all about making companies cyber security space easier and pushing backwards potential ransomware attempts, one innovation at a time, my goal is to reduce the noise and help teams focus on the risks that actually matter.
